It's been a tough adjustment for me...I just want to DO stuff. To go OUT and SHOW them stuff. To try it, to smell it, to move it, to test it, to ....well SO many things other than sit at a computer! But I believe I am finally ready to rock this online learning thing!
I've been exploring all kinds of awesome digital programs and apps and it's all starting to come together! I've only just begun to discover bitmojis (who knew that was a thing?) but it looks like so much fun! I've been thinking of ideas to get the littles involved :) I may have FINALLY mastered the google classroom and docs - well master might be a bit overzealous - and I've been sifting through an endless supply of online resources. This first 'classroom', a virtual classroom, is the start of what I'm hoping will be a great online program for the littles!!
I'll be trying out this new format for my online classes! I'm hoping it will save me some time, be more aesthetically pleasing, and make the experience more fun and easy to navigate for you and the littles. I'll use my classroom to support my online preschool kids via zoom and then parents can access the classroom to review the material, find new material and discover additional activities and crafts!
When you click the picture of my classroom, it will take you to my CLICKABLE pdf file.
There, you can click your way around the virtual classroom to try out different things.
Click the 'hello' picture for our Hello song.
Click the books to be taken to a read aloud or a an ebook.
Click the radio or the instruments for songs.
The dancing monster picture is our freeze dance song and the picture on the right is our goodbye song.
Crafts and other activities to try at home will be accessed from the yellow button on the white board message.
These will vary slightly with different lessons, but the basic premise will be the same!
Have fun clicking around the 'classroom' and trying out the different features.
I'm looking forward to seeing where my bitmoji will take the littles!!!
One of our Zoom Preschool Online activities...what can the littles do for mom?

I've started this page during the COVID break to help the kiddos continue learning at home. Most activities can be done with kids of all ages if parents vary the level of content, participation and discussion appropriate to each child! (differentiated instruction). Before the break we were at letter S. Visit our facebook page for letter A-R activities at https://www.facebook.com/evergreenacademy.ca/
