Our first Preschool Online was a success!!
A lot of what we did was interactive and is hard to share on here but I'll do my best to share the parts I can :)
We started off with our hellos and then did an interactive 'role call' (which I can't post due to privacy reasons).
The littles had some 'prep work' to do - they chose an egg to colour. You can download these at First Pallette if you are interested.
We then shared our eggs with the class and tallied them on our 'chart':
Next up we read a book together. The littles helped with some ordinal numbers, colours and rhyming! This one was an ebook that I downloaded from the library.
We then took turns finding Easter Eggs in the hunt I found at Bloomsbury and couned them all up!
(By the way, I love the book Going on an Egg Hunt if you are able to find it!
We read 10 Hungry Rabbits and the littles helped me with the counting and colours. I again read this ebook from my library but I found a youtube version if you are interested.
We ended our session with our favourite "Freeze Dance" song!!
I left the kiddos with some homework to do. They had to create an egg hunt for their families and find an Easter object to bring for 'show and tell' tomorrow!
You can click the pdf for a few additional activities as well :) An egg hunt and a maze :)
Looking forward to tomorrow!!!!

I've started this page during the COVID break to help the kiddos continue learning at home. Most activities can be done with kids of all ages if parents vary the level of content, participation and discussion appropriate to each child! (differentiated instruction). Before the break we were at letter S. Visit our facebook page for letter A-R activities at https://www.facebook.com/evergreenacademy.ca/
