Preschool Programs

2019/2020 School Year
Evergreen offers our Stepping Stones Day programs for children ages 30 months to 6 years. In order to attend, children must be potty trained (we are able to assist with toileting but are unable to accommodate those still in diapers).
Each day of the week features a different educational theme. Regardless of which day you choose, your child will participate in group and individual activities, games, crafts, physical education, music, and more! There will also be many opportunities to explore our community. The daily schedule includes 3 learning blocks, time for free play/outdoor play, nap/quiet time, 2 snacks and a lunch.
The programs run daily from 9:00am to 3:30 pm. Extended hours are available if necessary. Please be sure to visit the Parents page to download our school year calendar.
Our Program Options:
Each child can register for any one, or all, day(s) of the week, but are not able to alter days on a week-to-week basis. (Meaning that if you sign up for Monday you cannot attend the program on Tuesday unless you have registered for Tuesdays as well).
Please note that we require a minimum of 4 children in a program before it is able to run. If the program you choose is not available due to insufficient enrolment, you may choose another available day, or request a full refund.

2019/2020 Program Fees:
The daily fee for a Stepping Stones program is $45 (please be aware that you will be required to send your own snacks, drinks and lunch).
Payments are calculated for the entire school year and divided into 10 equal payments that are due in advance on the first of the month beginning September 1st.
You are not responsible for program payments on days when the school is closed for holidays (as indicated on our calendar). You are, however, responsible for program payments on days when your child is absent due to illness or personal vacation.
Add-on options are available for extended times up to 1.5 hours prior to and after the Stepping Stones program duration. If a different drop-off/pick-up time is needed, please discuss this with us and we will try to accommodate. Please refer to the registration form on the Parents Page for extended care fees. If both before and after care is required please contact us to discuss a discount!
We also offer additional days when they become available due to illness, vacation, etc. These days will be posted on Remind (our communication system) when they are available and are filled on a first come, first served basis. The fee for picking up additional days is $35/day, which will be added to the following month's billing.

- A $25 registration fee must accompany the registration form and is only refundable if we are unable to accept your child based on availability of space for the requested program. Please note, registration fees are waived if your child has previously registered with Evergreen
- Once acceptance (availability of space) is confirmed you will need to complete all applicable forms listed on the Parents Page here. Our parent handbook can also be viewed on the Parents Page of our website.
- An enrolment contract will be drawn up with your particulars (days/extended hours/etc.) and will also list each payment date and the amount that is due. This must be signed by both parents and returned before your child begins his/her program.

Waiting Lists
When we have openings for our Preschool programs we first check with those that are currently registered, followed by those on the waiting list, before we post to the public. If you want to be added to our wait list and offered a spot before we post openings, please complete the following form:
